Hey Steeler Nation, YOUR STEELERS ARE IN THE POST SEASON!
The Steelers in a crazy downpour took care of the Ravens 17-10 then had to wait til Sunday at 4pm to know that the Jags lost to the Texans that put YOUR STEELERS INTO THE PLAYOFFS.
This season has been one of the craziest season I can ever recall after losing 3 straight to the likes of the CARDS, THE PATS and THE COLTS, this team turned to Mason Rodolph to see if he could give them a spark, well that moved worked great as this same team won its last 3 games in impressive style. Not only did the QB look and play great football but the O.Line dominated and the run game was solid. Najee took a lot of hate for his running style, but now showed everyone this kid can play in a power run system.
G. Pickens finally had a few break out games, it sure does look great when our QB targets this kid, he played out standing and hey, he even started blocking too. The defense and what should be the D.P.O.Y winner T.J. WATT had another amazing season, but did suffer a bad knee injury that took him out for the second half of this game and most likely for the play offs, but never say never with T.J.
I was impressed with GOLDEN and HERBIG as they did a great job filling in for T.J, Highsmith had a killer game and the def line for the most part was solid. The secondary with all their injuries held up fine and the system worked great. Lets not forget Johnson with his monster TD catch and run.
Mike Tomlin again showed why he is a top head coach in the NFL by taking this team to a 10 win season despite all the injuries and all that HATE FROM a lot of Steeler fans. The coaching staff deserves a ton of thank you's as they kept on fighting all season long.
It feels great to be back in the playoffs and now its time to head to BUFFALO to face the Bills this Sunday at 1pm. The Bills are not the same Bills from last year, this team has a weak run defense and Josh seems to always look to make a bad play or a PICK. If we can get pressure on him he will give you the ball some how some way.
The Steelers have nothing to lose no i mean NO ONE (But Me) gave them any chance at a playoff birth, if we can get solid QB play and our power run game in the snow vs the Bills defense, I THINK THIS TEAM CAN BEAT ANY TEAM!
