The Steelers looked like they wanted to play some real football today with a huge 34-11 win and SWEEP THE BENGALS!
This is what we all been waiting for with this team a full 4 QT of solid football with NO FLAGS, NO TURN OVERS and a damn QB THAT CAN PLAY FOOTBALL. They dominated the Bengals from start to finish in this blow out.
I think all of us including myself needs to re-think the play of WR G. PICKENS, he looks amazing with a solid QB, he still needs to block and run hard routes, but wow 4-195 yards 2 TDS? That sideline catch was insane. We can all now give this kid some love.
The defense no matter how depleted they were just made plays, they gave up a ton of yardage, but they did make plays all day. T.J. WATT and HIGHSMITH just took over the game with pressure all day on the QB.
Can't say enough about the play of MASON at QB, this guy showed passion and toughness all day, that 3rd down run showed h all of us and his teammates he was willing to play hard for them. The players seemed to love playing hard for Mason, it was a great display of team.
The game was a fun game to watch, the O.LINE was solid, run game was solid, funny how great QB play makes everyone look better, from the coaches to the players this team looked like a real football team all day!
We all waited a long time to get to stick our chests out and talk some smack, the Bengals on a 3 game win streak and we were on a 3 game losing streak, it was so much fun to SWEEEEEP THEM!
I predicted 10-7 from day one at training camp and I'm not changing it now. With some help and a 10-7 record we could make it to the playoffs. PLAYOFFS? I'M ALL IN WITH MASON, no need to start Kenny, lets all ride with MASON.
