Steelers Get A Huge Win Over The Titans 20-16!
Don't ask me how this team continues to get wins, the have a good defense but this offense is horrid. But, it sure was great watching a team take that opening drive right down the field and get that TD, it brought back memories of a lost offense we once had. I think the moving Canada to the sideline was a huge help, this way if he makes a blunder someone could punch him, but hey, lets give him some credit, the offense wasn't great or nothing but it did look a lot better.
The 4QQB Pickett must just love 4th qt comebacks, all I want to know is how do we get him to play like he does then into ALL 3 QTS? The run game looked solid, blocking was solid, pass blocking was shaky but all in all the O.Line was solid. Johnson finally gets a D, that kid worked all night and had a great game, now lets talk about the other WR G. Pickens and his cry baby antics, dude high five Johnson bro, we don't need another cry baby on this team.
The defense was solid, the flag fest kinda made hem look a little weak with every 3rd down flag going against us all night, is it just me or does the NFL get a little to FLAG HAPPY today? Tomlin had a good game plan it's kinda like his only game plan at this point, keep it close and get a splash play then let Pickett win it at the end. One thing i noticed was all the LOVE LEVIS got, it sounded like a love affair with both announcers and him all night long, they made him sound like the new Brady. WOW!
I was holding my breathe at the end of the game for sure, we just stayed in softcover 2 zone and looked like we didn't want that win, this defense makes you sweat. Can you imagine if Levis would of got that TD, Al would of left the booth and went and got a big kiss from him.
The NFL that used to love is turning into a flag fest, every game has to have a P.I cal and a roughing call, the game is 50% softer today then back in the 70's, hell the 90's was a fun league. We need to stop allowing a 3rd down toss up pass play to determine an out come of a football game somehow.
I don't care how we do it, but a win is a win, you need wins to get in the playoffs, then ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
