The Steelers defense balled out on Monday Night, but that offense looks like hot garbage. Steelers win it 26-22 over the SAME OLD BROWNIES.
Well it looks like all of us were right about the Steelers defense when I told you they will wreck games this year, this is the defense I told you all about, the same one that got smacked vs the 49ers, but some how DOMINATE the brownies 26-22.
First off if anyone thinks that Mr. T.J. Watt is not the best defensive football player in the NFL you can just stop reading from this point on. This guy is tearing up this league, at this rate he will win the D.P.O.Y award next month. His stat line looks crazy 5 tackles, 3 sacks, a fumble recovery for the TD and 6 pressures. DAHMMMMMMMM. Lets not forget that kid on the other side Alex Highsmith, this could become a 0ne-two race for that M.V.P award.
Give some shout outs to Larry O, he was dominanting all night on the def line, Kwon, and the rest of them ILB's played very well all night long. The CBS looked weak, L. Wallace was a mess in coverage, I like what I seen from Porter jr and Minka was EVERYWHERE making tackle after tackle.
Now to the bad part, the OFFENSE IS A COMPLETE MESS, the play calling is pathetic, MATT CANADA is killing everything, again we have ONE target to a T.END, ONE SCREEN on a 3rd and 18 that picks up 13, we don't go deep at all even with Calvin. Pickett looks like he forgot how to use his mobility and run for some yards. The Browns defense was stacking up in a 9 man front, our run game was destroyed all night. A few bright spots was J. Warren looked to be faster then Najee. But the run game is not working at all.
The o.Line looks like garbage, although Dan Morre kept Myles quiet all night long, but the rest of the O.Line was MAN HANDLED all night long, zero push and horrid run blocking.
Tomlin played the crowd to keep his defense fired up and coached a near perfect game, his red flag late was just to give his defense a rest, Pickens looked solid and was open all night, I just wish we knew how to get him the ball MATT CANADA!
Boz was awesome and hats off to the punter P. Harvin he finally looked like a good punter all night. Loved the fans that had the stadium rockin all night and that chant was INSANE FUNNY. LOVED IT!
I'm going to give you a guy I would love see take over as our O.C. (BEN ROTHLISBURGER) he can read defenses and has the field vision to know what a defense is trying to do.. MAKE THE CALL TOMLIN!
It looks like the Steelers move to 21-0 on Monday Night games at home and 21-0 vs them brownies at home regular season, we don't count the lone playoff win...
On a sad note, I know all us steeler nation fans live Steeler football and hate every other player, But lets show some love for Nick Chubb, that injury was so bad, I hope he can make it back, but if not at least have a great life, we all remember Ryan Shazier, Its football, but much respect to Nick Chub from all of us at Steeler Nation.
