The Steelers get smacked in the face at home by a 2-10 Cardinals team! 24-10!
I really didn't see that mess coming at all, who were those players and an we never see them again? What happened to the 400 yards of offense and that dominant defense we showed last week, did Matt Canada get re-hired?
Where do I start with this complete debacle, first lets just hope K. Pickett is good after he suffered an ankle sprain, with that said, he was just looking like the Kenny we all expected, he still can't read defenses and always seemed to miss wide open WRS. I do think Kenny could be running out of time, this is game 24 for him and with just one 300 yard game, it just don't look good for him or for this team.
The run game was solid, i just wish we could use more UNDER CENTER I-FORMATION POWER FOOTBALL but we are not allowed for some reason, Najee ran hard and Warren was fast and electric. they both needed way more carries.
Now the season and the QB position comes down to M. Trubiski, maybe he can give us a few solid games, we can run the ball but not if he can't pass, lets not forget we got M. Rodolph if Mitch stinks it up. LETS RUN POWER AND PLAY ACTION AND USE THE T.ENDS...
The offense play calling looked flat and stale as again we did NOT USE THE T. ENDS like we did last week, why do they try to out think teams and try to switch up what worked fine a week ago? It drives me crazy! One fast note is M.COLE our center is the worse center I have seen In the NFL, this guy just can't make nice snaps to the QB, they up bounced in, far left, far right its a mess with him and his blocking is PATHETIC!
Lets get to that 100 million dollar defense, why on earth are we playing cover 2 soft zone vs the freaking CARDS? That was beyond stupid and made no sense as the Cards have no threats deep, they have a T.END that killed us all game because we refuse to put MINKA ON HIM. Why not play man press and allow our pass rush to dominate this game? Very confused by that style def vs the sloppy Cards.
Let me remind you this was an 0-10 road team and a 2-10 team over all, this was a horrid football team that DOMINATED US AT HOME! PERIOD. Our coaches and EVERY PLAYER NEEDS TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR and decide if they have any heart or is it just for that FREE GIANT PAY CHECK..
I'm so mad at this franchise right now, I can just see MR. JACK LAMBERT, MR. JOE GREENE and the rest of them real football players wanting to smack this crew in the mouths. That was not Steeler football that was a cheap, sad not ready football team that showed NO HEART and JUST STOLE A PAYCHECK.
Lets hope this loss wakes this team up and they get fired up and play NASTY the rest of the way, next up is a NON BRADY PATRIOTS TEAM if you lose this game at home, the TOMLIN CHANTS WILL START and not even I will be able to save you Mike. EVERY PLAYER NEEDS TO HAVE A SIT DOWN AND UNDERSTAND THAT THIS FRANCHISE IS THE BEST IN ALL OF SPORTS AND THEY NEED TO SHOW HEART NOW!
