Congrats to Albert Pujols on #700

Albert Pujols hits his 699 and 700th HR in classic style.

We now have a brand new member in the MLB's 700 club MR. Jose Albert Pujols. He must not ever want this season to end as now his Cards are making a push to get into this years baseball playoffs.

In the game since 2001 this guy has been a great player with 700 home runs, 3,772 hits, 2,080 RBI's he is a Hall Of Fame player for sure. He has never been in any negativity or any baseball steroid investigations, unlike Barry Bonds who is also on the 700 list.

The list its self is Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron and now Albert Pujos. Speaking of this list, did any of you see that bat that Babe Ruth has? I'm still trying to figure out how he hit 100 with that thing..lol

Pujos favorite player was Roberto Clemente from the Pirates and that was a great role model for sure, he opened the door for the Puerto Rican and Spanish players to be seen and get drafted by scouts in the MLB.

Being a round 13 and at pick #402 he had to prove himself to the scouts who claimed he couldn't hit the fast ball and has major trouble with inside curve balls, they said he was a reach when drafted, what a great reach he was.

Winning the M.V.P award 3 times 2005,2008 and 2009, he was an 11 time all star, 6 time silver slugger who has twice led the NL in home runs, he has also led the NL league once each in Batting Average, doubles and RBI's.

At 41 years old, we got to watch a great player in our era and as for me, I truly loved it. Thank You Albert for what you have done for the game of Baseball.
