Steelers Take Down The Packers 23-19 and Start To Show A Power Run Game!
Every week it seems like something new takes place with this team, most weeks we could count on our defense to make big plays, but this week we saw the offense look like a real power running football team, the O.Line was just plane nasty, they were blowing off the ball and making killer blocks all game.
Kenny still just don't seem right, he still don't look down the field nor does he look to the middle of the field, his vision of the field is weak, but his route runners look like all the wt to do is run quick outs on both sides, it could be our play caller that has no clue how to create routes for wrs.
The game was on the safe side as Tomlin loves to keep games close and then pull off the win at the end. Tomlin looked ready to go and the offense looked ready to go, the run game with Warren ad Najee looked insane good, thy both had big runs and both ran hard.
The defense was another story, I think all the injuries to our ILB core is starting show up, teams are now not holding the ball in the pocket allowing our pass rush to get home now it seems like teams are passing fast to open spots in our cover 2 soft zone. I thin we need to play more man press and force teams to hold the ball in the pocket.
I think our special teams was average and our punting was horrid, our secondary even though they saved the game looked so bad in coverage, Minka has to get back ASAP!
Tons of the espn talking heads are talking about how bad we are, all i got to say is 6-3 baby, a win is a win no matter how you get them.
