Steelers get a huge win vs Tom Brady and the Buccs.
Just when you thought the Steelers gave up on the season, they all come together and beat a Steelers killer in Tom Brady with a solid defensive performance along with a good offensive attack. Yeah, I know it wasn't perfect by any means, but it sure beats watching them get smashed.
The defense was without a ton of starters and the backups who started played a tough game, Edmunds finally had a solid game and the CB's were attacking the ball all day. The run game showed signs, but still fell bellow average, the O. Line played well, if not for the flags on Dotson would have played a solid game.
The pas rush was very good with Heyward and Highsmith leading the way, I liked the work that Wormley and Bush turned in, It's been a long time since I heard D, Bush name called. Another great game was turned in by M. Jack, he made a ton of tackles sideline to sideline.
Pickett's first drive looked like we actually had a game plan and the offense was great, we did see him get injured but M. Trubiski came in and made some big time 3rd downs and showed some heart and emotion. Claypool played his best game and Johnson made some great catches. A nice spark was the play of the special teams with Boswell kicking a 59 yard FG and Sims Jr, returning a kick 80 yards to set up the offense nicely.
We all gave some hate to coach Tomlin, but this time we have to show some love, he out coached Tom Brady and the Buccs, maybe all that stupid fire Tomlin talk will fade away some this week. HE IS ALWAYS MY COACH!
All in all with that win, we need to build off of it Sunday night in Miami or this game means nothing, we need to stack some wins and stay in the North race as no one in the north seems to want the division.
I was proud to be a Steelers fan Sunday vs the Buccs, just play steeler football and We will all stay happy.
